I’ve been a member of the PGA European Tour since 1992
I’ve competed in 3 Open Championships, 1989, 1999, 2000. In 1989 I led the ‘Open’ after 15 holes
I won the 1992 PGA European Challenge Tour Order of Merit. This was my 3rd year on the tour, if I’d not got into the top 10 this year I think I would have lost my sponsors.
My biggest individual tournament win was the Audi Open in 1992. I’d just shot 86 in my last tournament round and then went out and shot a course record 66 in the opening round and shot 69, 69, 72 to win the tournament by 2
In 1995 and 1996 I played in the Alfred Dunhill Cup for Wales. I played in 6 matches and won 3…. Not bad!!!!!
My best finish on tour was 2nd in the Madeira Open of 1996. I 3 putted the last to finish 1 shot back!!!!
